Lacey is able or starting to recognize people by their name,sound of their voice and who they are(or what each person looks like)When she started barking we checked outside and it was my Aunty outside taking care of her plants so when my dad said it’s just “aunty betsy” Lacey quickly became quiet and refrained from barking once she knew who it was.Dogs are really smarter than we give them credit for!

Keeping Your Maltipoo in check
Don’t Bite:
One way I don’t get Lacey to bite is I hold her the object in her mouth with my thumb and index finger on the side of the object and playfully take slight tugs here and there but when I feel that the “grab” is getting tighter I release my “hold” on the object and let her have it.When she releases the object then play.
Don’t go outside of the house without a owner present:
Before I open any doors of the house I always make sure that Lacey is always and I mean always in back of me first,once she stays I open the door and tell her to continue to stay with commands & to be sure she’s always in back of me not in front then I go out.
Lacey”Walking is part of my routine now”
Yesterday(Sunday Night)my mom took Lacey walking around the house(outside of the house)around 6:30pm(HST) and tonight(Monday night)she heard something outside and went right to the front entry which she then started barking high pitched.I checked it was my Aunty talking to a friend.Lacey then knew there was no reason to bark but she stayed by the door for a few minutes so I told my mom I think Lacey wants to go walking.On went her harness and collar and we went walking around the house one time.She enjoys these walks and it is now part of her everyday routine to go on daily walks.She’s going to have a long life the way she’s taking her daily walks!

I approve of pupperoni!At first,I didn’t know what it was so I was careful to sniff it first.Just to be sure it’s not a trick.I ate it bit by bit and finished the small piece of pupperoni I was given.”Lacey approves of Pupperoni!”

Lacey’s free from Giardia and No returns of Worms reports Dr Kaya from VCA Animal Hospital!
Dr John Kaya has reported that Lacey does not have any signs of Giardia and no returns of worms!I told Lacey that she did it and is free from worms,no giardia and no meds in a excited tone and she jumped up,gave hi5′s,rolled over and even gave her a piece of chips to celebrate her health status is better than ever!
Spencer and Heidi Get Another Puppy!
It all could be practice for little ones down the line, but for now Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are adding another puppy to their new furry family, Inky.
It was just last month that Pratt surprised Montag for her 23rd birthday with a 9-week-old maltipoo puppy, whom they named Dolly, after country singer Dolly Parton. But it seems their household was getting a little too girly for the 26-year-old Hills star.
“We’re getting Dolly’s brother and naming him Inky the Ninja!” the couple tells PEOPLE exclusively of the little black maltipoo that will be joining the household soon. “We felt that Dolly wanted her brother, [and] we’re having issues sharing Dolly,” the pair playfully admit.
“And Spencer wanted a boy,” says Montag. “He says Dolly is too girly!” Well, she did, of course, come with a large pink bow.

Lacey’s religion
Today I quizzed Lacey on religion and president Obama with a Chicken Liver Treat.I broke it into pieces and asked her questions “Is President Obama doing a good job?”"Is Jesus Lord?” “Did Jesus create the Universe?” “Is there such thing as a Big Bang?” “Is there such thing as Satan?We don’t like Satan.He’s mean.”She’d respond looking directly at me for yes and away for No.Dogs are smarter than we give them credit for.
I tried this on Lacey because I saw a video on you tube with a owner giving her dog a treat to answer questions with a yes or no about People and Obama.The dog wouldn’t eat one for Obama but for others it did.

My first time outside of the house walking on cement experience
My mom took Lacey outside of the house and she was a little scared to go outside.She knows that she is supposed to be inside the house and not outside.She wanted to do the right thing and not make the wrong choice but it was okay because my mom wanted to take her walking around the house(outside).She took a short walk with my mom and was carried up and down the stairs since she can’t climb the stairs yet.We’re trying to train her to walk up and down the stairs from time to time.
Lacey’s scare
Tonight(Friday night)my dear puppy Lacey was frightened and very scared.She went into my mom’s work room and saw a shopping bag that was open.She just so happened to put her head in the right way such that she got her head caught right in the center of the two handles.According to my parents she was screaming,yelping and crying trying to take it off she dragged the bag which then caught on to my mom’s chair leg(It’s one of those office chairs with three legs that spins around)and my mom was able to free her.But because she was so scared and frightened when she made poop my mom could sense the smell of blood but the blood was not there physically.I was away at church so I didn’t see this but when I came back she seemed happy like always but what a scare it must have been for the poor thing..I wish I was there to help comfort her..She’s resting now and in good spirits.
Lacey doesn’t beg for table food
For the first time since I started putting Lacey’s dog food on top of a plate of table food I noticed that Lacey does not beg for table food..But she does eat her dog food on her own for the most part.Somehow she knew that if she didn’t eat her food she wouldn’t get table food and when she didn’t eat her own food she just rested with no begging.My dad and I were surprised at that.Normally,she’d beg but I think she’s getting the hang of it.
