Brownie 2003-

Brownie is our neighbor’s Staffordshire Terrier dog that is almost like our own considering that we feed most of her meals. We don’t know much about her except that she’s about 7 or 8 presently and is likely to live till about 14-16 years old if we’re lucky with us feeding her about 2 cups a day.Her owner doesn’t feed her as she seems like she’s starving almost every day.Currently she’s finishing up Lacey’s old dog food and the way this girl goes it will be gone in a matter of months. She’s a very affectionate dog & is usually friendly with even Lacey overall. She’s lost a few pounds in the last few months to the point if you look very carefully at her ribs you can tell she’s lost some weight. Not a lot but enough to make a difference.Currently,we’re looking at dog foods to feed her but we don’t want to feed something too expensive but not as bad as Science Diet/IAMS etc..So we’re thinking of something grain based or grain free(for her I don’t think it’d matter like with Lacey though I think she has some but none severe to the point where she’d have hot spots or hair loss..None that I’ve noticed anyways)like whatever’s the best bang for the buck…perhaps Taste of the Wild, maybe Canidae, possibly some large breed dog food…whatever’s the best bang for about a 30 pound bag of dog food (about maybe $40-60 price range)to last her even 4 months. One of the brands Brownie is currently being fed Earthborn Holistics Adult Vantage which is a 28 pound bag of dog food we bought for her.She was on that from January 2011-May 2011
June 2011:As of Early June of 2011,Brownie,as she was affectionatly known,is no longer around..I am guessing she passed away at about 7-9 years old, from possibly kennel cough(barks were getting weaker) and maybe pneumonia..It is unfortunate and we will miss her.RIP Brownie wherever you are!
Update:June 18,2011:Brownie “arrives” “home”..See next page & a blog on it following….
