Lacey approved recipies-Bread Pudding,Is it maltipoo approved?Check for an update
Tonight I decided to try make Bread Pudding for Lacey to see what she would think of it.It calls for Butter/Margarine,4 White Bread,3 Eggs,1/2 cup sugar,1/2 tsp salt,1/2 tsp vanilla,2 C Scalded Milk.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease baking dish with LOTS of Butter or Margarine. Cube 4 slices of White Bread and put in baking dish. In a bowl, mix 3 Eggs, 1/2 C Sugar, 1/2 tsp Salt and 1/2 tsp Vanilla. Add 2 C Scalded Milk and beat with wire whisk. Pour mixture into baking dish on top of cubed bread. Place baking dish in pan of water and bake (uncovered) for about 1 hour. Feed dog 1/2 a “pudding” at each meal.
Scalded Milk:
____(Amount of milk needed for recipie) & pour into a pan.Heat should be about medium to medium high and wait for it to boil but not quickly.Stir constantly.Should take about 15-20 minutes before it’s ready.
