Lacey “reunites” with “her pack”buddy Brownie!

Today,Lacey, went walking, met up with a few of her doggy friends then headed home to clean her butt…A day ago,June 18,I went to the bathroom & thought I heard a dog, that sounded so much like Brownie…It was not a loud bark like usual so Lacey didn’t react to the bark.Anyway, the dog barked like two times..Still..I didn’t want to get my hopes up because we/I,had just gotten used to the routine that oh,Brownie is not here with us anymore so we don’t have to go feed her everyday…Now,we have no one to help Lace eat all her food…As I don’t make her eat her own dry food so most of it would have gotten tossed or thron out anyways..

So,after Lacey’s walk,I started to put her poop in the trash bin when we passed by the edge of the fence we didn’t see a dog..so I thought, maybe it wasn’t Brownie who barked…well…we went further down and saw,a beige looking dog, slowly making way from under the house next to ours..and slowly making way to the gate wagging it’s tail….the dog came to the gate wagging it’s tail as if to say “I know you.Where’s my food???”..If it wasn’t Brownie and if it was a new dog,why would the dog be wagging it’s tail like it knows me and approach the fence. You would think the dog would not have that ‘trust’ with me.So,I took Lace inside, washed her up,then asked her “Lace, you want to go feed your buddy?wanna go feed your buddy???Brownie??”After a few attempts she showed no reaction but when I said the name Brownie, she jumped right into action & started barking happy barks! So I got some food for Brownie and Brownie was still there waiting…when the two met up,Lace on one side of the fence and Brownie on the other side,Lacey put up her two front paws on the wall and gave the biggest happy yelp you can ever imagine..She said “AAAAAP” in a very high pitched up tone as if she was soo happy to reunite with her “pack”

For a while, she’d go by the downstairs door,as I think she was lonely without Brownie so she wanted to be with Cody(Jamie’s dog..my brother’s coworker’s dog)
